Our first stop was the Newport Aquarium. We knew this would be a hit with Macklan since he loves fish and other underwater creatures.
One of our favorite exhibits was the jellyfish. These glow-n-the-dark ones were amazing.
He's growing too fast!
Of course, he had to be on the BLUE one! I've never seen someone so obsessed with a color.
After a few hours at the aquarium, we had dinner at Newport on the Levee.
The next morning, we woke up early to spend a day at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. Here are some of the amazing animals and sites we enjoyed throughout the day. This was by far the best zoo we have ever visited. Highly recommended by the Blakes!
The polar bear entertained us with his swimming skills, and Macklan enjoyed watching the sea lion and seal put on a show from the underground viewing window.

Our little waterbug liked feeling the splashes from this waterfall and running through the water mist tunnel. Can't say I blame him. It felt pretty good!

You can't go to Cincinnati without going to a Reds game! This was Macklan's 1st MLB game, and he loved it. He was content during the entire game and of course had his share of concession favorites. After the game, we enjoyed a fantastic fireworks show over the river. We had a blast!!!

Looks like something my little fellas would enjoy too! Henry loves "shishies" too! I can't wait to take him to an Aquarium!
