We recently had a logger cut down a tree in our yard. After he loaded the big logs, we had to take care of cleaning up the smaller logs and tree limbs. Dad and Scott did most of the work; however, they couldn't have done it without our little lumberjack! Mom had gotten Macklan a little chainsaw, and on this particular day it came in handy. It didn't take long for Macklan to figure out what to do with the chainsaw. He would stand over a log, start up his vibrating saw, and bang the saw against the log. It was hot working in the sun, so Macklan would just sit down on a log to rest. We could have a future lumberjack on our hands.

Oh, how precious! Isn't it funny how boys can just pick up "boy toys" and know what to do with them?!
